You are invited to join the Washington DC Region (WDCR SCCA) for karting at:
K1 Speed Indoor Karting

Manassas, Virginia
Please arrive for this event at 12:30 PM sharp, and runs through 3:00PM.
What you need to know:

No equipment is necessary, but we recommend bringing your own helmet.

Washington DC Region SCCA members and their guests are welcome. Bring your friends and family! This is a low-stress and fun social gathering.

Payment is required at the time your register. This is a change from past outdoor karting events. Please register yourself, show up, and be ready to Kart! All payments for karting are collected at the time of registering. Each person driving a kart has to individually register.

No refunds. Payment is collected at the time you register. The Washington DC Region has to give K1 Speed a non-refundable deposit in advance.

Pre-registration is required. Sorry, we cannot accept on-site registrations. We have to give K1 Speed an exact number of drivers several days in advance.

We are limiting the number of drivers to 20. We will hold a wait list, but cannot promise waitlisted people that they will be able to drive.

All drivers will get a practice/warm-up, qualifier, and a race.

All drivers will have to sign the SCCA speedwaiver, or have on file an SCCA annual waiver, or sign the SCCA paper waiver on-site (we really prefer the electronic versions). K1 Speed also has it's own waiver that you need to sign, either electronically or on paper.

Any driver under the age of 18 must have a SCCA minor waiver filled out or on file with SCCA. For any questions on this please call the Club Office at 301-572-7444.

K1 Speed requires that all drivers are at least 4' - 10 " tall to drive the karts. Sorry, at this event we will not have junior karts.

Pizza, soft drinks or water are provided by K1 Speed.

Event requirements
Everyone attending will be required to sign the SCCA waiver, in addition to the K1 Speed waiver.
Please visit speedwaiver.com to execute the SCCA event waiver. If you have a hard-card 2025 SCCA Annual Waiver, you do not need to use this Electronic SpeedWaiver. Please be sure to bring your SCCA membership card, showing your Annual Waiver with you to check-in at the track. Minors may not use the SpeedWaiver. Please contact the Club Office in advance if you are bringing a minor to the event.
